Rachel & Michael’s wedding enveloped every element of classic elegance without sacrificing one ounce of whimsical fun. Their venue, The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm was a wonderland of flowers and greenery that created the most romantic setting to perfectly reflect the hearts of a couple that so obviously adored one another. A love that was very evident in the honest expression of pure joy the first time they saw one another on their wedding day and the genuine happiness that shined through them in sharing that day with their friends and family. As further proof of how special Rachel and Michael’s wedding day truly was, I would like to take a moment to give you the weather report on this day.
We were surround by “significant weather” you know the kind that sends scary sounds to your phone? All around us were black clouds, thunder and lightning (not that our happy couple seemed to notice). We also learned right before the OUTDOOR ceremony that the minister had driven in through a hail storm from is house located only 10 minutes away but barely a drop fell at Hunter Valley.
Needless to say this wedding party had lots of reasons to party and Rachel and Michael made sure they were treated to a serious celebration! Guest walked from the ceremony site to the reception area to find an antique beer truck waiting on them. A pretty good sign that a fun time is waiting! A live band played as Rachel and Michael made their grand entrance onto the dance floor for their first dance which happened to be a… WALTZ!?! And just in case that wasn’t impressive enough, it turns out the whole family can dance I mean really professionally dance? Talk about family goals! The live band kept everyone (even those unprofessionally trained Ha!) dancing all night until it was time for Mr. & Mrs. Yu to be whisked away in their vintage Rolls Royce. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day and it was an honor to be a part of it.
